Dean Rubin joined the College of Law in 1989 as an adjunct professor and became a member of the full-time faculty in 1990. In 1996 Dean Rubin was granted tenure and in 2001 was promoted to the rank of full Professor of Law. Also in 1996, Dean Rubin was appointed Associate Dean with the primary responsibility of overseeing the academic program; including the hiring of adjuncts, scheduling courses, and assuring the effectiveness of faculty in the classroom. Dean Rubin served as Interim Dean during the 2002-2003 academic year.
Prior to joining the College of Law, Dean Rubin’s practice areas included business law, general civil litigation, family law, estate planning, criminal defense, and appellate work in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.
