UNIVERSITY OF LA VERNE
PART-TIME FACULTY HANDBOOK

Reprinted October 27, 2000
Note: Beginning in January 2000 the official version of the University of La Verne Part-Time Faculty Handbook is the version located on the ULV website at http://www.ulv.edu/qm/ptfh/ptfh.html. Printed copies of the official version are produced from time to time for information, but the latest version of the handbook will always be found at http://www.ulv.edu/qm/ptfh/ptfh.html. The URL and date printed appear on the top of most handbook pages, and the date each page was last modified appears at the end of each handbook section.
PURPOSE OF THE HANDBOOK:This handbook aims at providing a brief guide to the policies and procedures of the University of La Verne as they apply to the part-time faculty of the University. Rather than supplanting the University of La Verne Catalog, QMS Manual, other documents, and information presented on the ULV website, it endeavors to be an annotated index of information important to ULV's part-time faculty. The web version of the handbook provides links to information throughout the ULV website. Increasingly, this handbook is valuable primarily as a guide for locating continuously updated information on ULV's website. Many off-campus programs and centers publish additional information specific to the program and location, but all significant general information should be found in this handbook.
